Study Cases – Real-World Applications

Reliability and Performance
Built to the highest standards, Polybell’s spectrometer systems ensure consistent and reliable performance, delivering data that is critical to decision-making in R&D and manufacturing processes.

Advanced Spectroscopy – How It Works
The JASCO® V770 Spectrometer utilizes grating diffraction to disperse light into a continuous spectrum based on wavelength. Monochromatic light is then selected using a slit mechanism, allowing for the separation of specific wavelengths. This monochromatic light is split into two equal-intensity beams. One beam passes through the sample while the other is used as a reference. By comparing the intensities of these beams, the transmittance ratio of the sample is calculated. The system can generate both a transmission spectrum and an absorption spectrum, offering critical insights into the material's optical properties.

Dual Light Sources for Full Spectrum Analysis
The system is equipped with a Deuterium lamp for UV/VIS measurements (190 ~ 350 nm) and a Halogen
lamp for VIS/NIR measurements (330 ~ 2700 nm), covering a broad range of wavelengths. This dual-light source setup ensures the accurate measurement of light transmission and absorption across the full spectrum

High Measurement Accuracy
The UV/VIS range offers a measurement accuracy of ±0.3 nm, while the NIR range provides an accuracy of ±1.5 nm. This level of precision is critical for applications requiring exact data, such as in the
development and analysis of optical coatings, thin films, and multilayer membranes.

Comprehensive Measurement Modes
The V770 system provides multiple measurement modes, including Penetration Spectrum (%T) and Absorption Spectrum (Abs), making it versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of research and industrial needs.
Key Features of the JASCO® V770 UV/VIS/NIR Spectrometer Systems
